El presente ensayo destaca la profunda conexión existente entre ética y estética en la obra de Roberto Bolaño. Analizando específicamente la novela 2666, se pondrá de relieve cómo el autor muestra el horror mediante el uso de imágenes, presentadas a veces como visiones surreales y grotescas y, en otras ocasiones, como colección de instantáneas. De este modo, se subraya la importancia del elemento visual en su poética.
The present essay stresses the deep link between ethics and aesthetics in the work of Roberto Bolaño. Analyzing specifically the novel 2666, it will be highlighted how the author shows the horror through the use of images, sometimes presented as surrealistic and grotesque visions and, at other times, as a collection of snapshots. In this way, the importance of the visual element in the poetics of Bolaño is emphasized.
