Abstract

El objeto de esta investigación es analizar la presencia del pretérito perfecto simple (PPS) y del pretérito perfecto compuesto (PPC) en la primera gramática de español para italianos, Il Paragone della lingua toscana et castigliana por Giovanni Mario Alessandri d’Urbino, publicada en Nápoles en 1560. Se tratará de reflexionar en torno a la propuesta teórica reconocible en el texto, centrando la atención en cuestiones terminológicas y contrastivas. Se analizará también el aparato ejemplar de la obra con el intento de establecer qué tipo de valores se recogen para las formas verbales objeto de estudio.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the verb forms of the pretérito perfecto simple (PPS) and the pretérito perfecto compuesto (PPC) in the first Spanish grammar explicitly addressed to an Italian public, i.e. Il Paragone della lingua toscana et castigliana by Alessandri d’Urbino, published in Naples in 1560. After the corpus analysis of 13 Italian grammars published in the first half of the 16^th century, we will compare the values and the uses recognized in this group of texts with those recollected in the Paragone. This study investigates also on some interesting terminological aspects as well as on the temporal and aspectual values of the forms of PPS and PPC of the examples used in this grammar.
