Mario Bellatin crea un espacio peculiar en su escritura, relacionado a la performance del lenguaje verbal y corporal. La ficción como cuerpo, o el cuerpo como ficción, dan lugar a otros de sí, los fantasmas de Bellatin, como se puede comprobar por la condición del protagonista de Disecado (2011). En su concepción de la literatura, arte y realidad, ficción y biografía borran sus fronteras, permitiendo el intercambio entre campos de sentido donde no hay límites para la creación. La escritura, prótesis del escritor, corresponde a una marca del cuerpo, como la digital y la imagen, manifestaciones equivalentes a modos de ser en el mundo. Por ello, la escritura de Mario Bellatin es su ethos, expresión de una desconexión atenta.
In his writings, Mario Bellatin creates a peculiar space related to the verbal and body performatic language. Fiction as a body or the body as fiction give way to the ghosts of Bellatin, as one can see in the condition of the protagonist of Disecado (2011). In their literature design, art and reality, fiction and biography abolish their borders, allowing the exchange among fields of meaning in which there are no limits for the creative act. Writing (the writer’s prosthesis), thus, corresponds to a mark of the body, such as the digital and the image, which are manifestations equivalent to the ways of being in the world. Therefore, the writing of Mario Bellatin is his ethos, an expression of a careful disconnection.
