En Buenos Aires, durante los años noventa, artistas mujeres y gais se enfrentaron a un campo artístico al que visualizaban como masculino, heternormativo y organizado alrededor de un sujeto varón, y por lo tanto excluyente de todo aquello relativo a lo femenino y homosexual. A partir de diversas acciones y prácticas confrontaron esta situación, configurándose, al mismo tiempo, como nuevos sujetos creativos. El presente artículo analiza el proceso de esta emergencia.
In Buenos Aires, during the nineties, women artists and gays faced an artistic field that visualized as masculine,heternormative and organized around a male subject, and therefore expulsive of everything on the feminine andhomosexual. From various actions and practices they confronted this situation, configuring, at the same time as newcreative subjects. This article analyzes the process of this emergency.
