Modulaciones de lo insólito, subversión fantástica e ironía feminista: ¿una cuestión de género(s)?

Modulations of the Unusual, Fantastic Subversion and Feminist Irony: a Matter of Genres/Genders?

Abstract

Las escrituras de las narradoras fantásticas e insólitas de habla hispana han mostrado en los últimos años una creciente vivacidad, visibilizada por proyectos antológicos que han dado lugar a nuevas reflexiones teóricas sobre la convergencia entre lo fantástico y el género. Lejos de constituir un grupo uniforme, autoras como Angélica Gorodischer, Patricia Esteban Erlés, Cecilia Eudave – entre otras – han llevado a cabo, a través de diferentes modulaciones de la literatura no mimética, reivindicaciones feministas comunes, expresándolas ahora gracias a la preferencia por los contenidos, en el nivel semántico, ahora gracias al uso de determinadas estrategias discursivas.  En este estudio nos detendremos en la función subversiva de la ironía, que junto con la torsión de lo real operada por lo fantástico, permite articular una poderosa crítica a la sociedad patriarcal y crear una comunidad – o coalición – de lectoras y lectores cómplices. 

The writing of fantastic and unusual Spanish-speaking female writers has shown in recent years a growing liveliness: their works have been intercepted by anthological projects that have given triggered new theoretical reflections on the convergence between fantastic and gender. Far from constituting a cohesive and uniform group, authors such as Angélica Gorodischer, Patricia Esteban Erlés, Cecilia Eudave –among others– have in fact carried forward, through different modulations of non mimetic literature, common feminist claims, expressed through the the semantic level or thanks to specific discursive strategies. In this study we will dwell on the subversive function of irony, which, together with the twisting of the real operated by the fantastic, allows to articulate a powerful critique of patriarchal society and create a community –or coalition– of accomplice readers.
