Abstract

Oral communication has acquired a fundamental role as a means of interaction be-tween language learners in the principles of communicative approaches and in the contribu-tions of the CEFR. On the other hand, the bilingual dictionary is one of the principal tools most used by students during the first years of learning an L2. In response to these two premises, we have set out to examine how some features of orality are presented and treat-ed in some Italian-Spanish/Spanish-Italian bilingual dictionaries for second language and translation learners. In the present paper, based on a corpus of three bilingual dictionaries, some elements of the macrostructure such as prologues and appendices and some of their microstructure, such as phonological treatment and three conversational markers, will be analyzed, in this regard.
