Abstract

El presente trabajo se circunscribe dentro del ámbito de la gramaticografía general y forma parte de un proyecto más amplio que, desde una perspectiva historiográfica interna, pretende demostrar el valor heurístico del ‘hispanismo gramatical francés’ de finales del siglo XVIII e inicios del XIX. Partimos del axioma según el cual la recepción de la gramática general y filosófica francesa es de gran relevancia para la historia de la sintaxis española. Sin embargo, se  ha constatado que la historiografía lingüística española hasta el momento no ha rastreado dicha recepción en la España del exilio francés. A partir de aquí, puesto que consideramos que nada autoriza a sostener, a priori, que en esta serie textual no podamos hallar reflexiones sintácticas de importancia, pretendemos rellenar dicho hueco bibliográfico. En esta ocasión se ha focalizado la atención en la Grammaire espagnole-française (1834), texto publicado en París por el exiliado liberal Bonifacio Sotos Ochando. La conclusión a la que llegamos es que dicha gramática avanza, desde un punto de vista cronológico, las innovaciones que marcarán el cambio fundamental de la sintaxis en el siglo XIX.

The present work is circumscribed within the scope of general gramaticography and is part of a larger project that, from an internal historiographic perspective, aims to demonstrate the heuristic value of the ‘French grammatical hispanism’ of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. We start from the axiom according to which the reception of French general and philosophical grammar is of great relevance for the history of Spanish syntax. However, it has been found that Spanish linguistic historiography has so far not tracked such reception in Spain of French exile. From here, since we consider that nothing authorizes to sustain, a priori, that in this textual series we can not find syntactic reflections of importance, we intend to fill this bibliographical gap. On this occasion attention has been focused on the Grammaire espagnole-française (1834), a text published in Paris by the exiled liberal Bonifacio Sotos Ochando. The conclusion we reach is that this grammar advances, from a chronological point of view, the innovations that will mark the fundamental change of syntax in the nineteenth century.
