En este artículo pretendemos demostrar que el microrrelato tiene entre sus características básicas el uso de la elipsis y la narratividad. Ambos rasgos han de estar presentes en un texto para que éste pueda ser incluido dentro del género. Además, analizaremos los microrrelatos más breves, aquellos que no superan las dos líneas de extensión, para observar cómo se extrema en ellos el uso de la elipsis y cómo deben tener narratividad para poder ser definidos como minicuentos.
In this paper we want to show that the short short fiction includes among its basic features the use of ellipsis and narrativity. Both features must be present in a text so that it can be included within the minifiction. In addition, we will analyze the shorter microstories, those with less than two lines, to observe how they use the ellipsis and how they should have narrativity in order to be defined as minifiction.
