El presente artículo se centrará en el análisis de la traducción al español de algunos modismos, refranes y culturemas que aparecen en la obra de Collodi Le avventure de Pinocchio. En primer lugar, trataremos brevemente el problema de la traducción de las obras escritas para niños. En segundo lugar, examinaremos la fortuna de Pinocho en España, pasando revista en orden cronológico a las traducciones y adaptaciones más importantes. Por último, nos centraremos en el análisis de la traducción de los modismos, los refranes y los culturemas en cuatro traducciones (Calleja, 1921; Calleja, 1941; Juventud, 1941; Alianza, 1972), con el objeto de establecer las diferentes intervenciones de los traductores.
This article will focus on the analysis of the Spanish translation of some idioms, sayings and culturemes appearing on the work of Collodi, Le avventure di Pinocchio. First, we briefly discuss the problem of translation of works written for children. Secondly, we examine the fortune of Pinocchio in Spain, reviewing in chronological order the most important translations and adaptations. Finally, we will focus on the analysis of the translation of idioms, proverbs and culturemes in four Spanish versions (Calleja, 1921; Calleja, 1941; Juventud, 1941; Alianza, 1972), in order to establish the different interventions of the translators.
