Abstract

Este trabajo se basa en la hipótesis de que en algunos textos de los años 2000, pertenecientes a géneros y espacios geográficos diferentes, se observaría una conexión entre la representación de una condición emotiva crítica y una nueva articulación de lo fantástico, más propenso a lo raro. A partir de esta constatación, en diálogo con Capitalist Realism y The Weird and the Eerie de Mark Fischer, se propone una lectura de dos cuentos de Liliana Colanzi: “La Ola” y “Chaco”. En ambos cuentos, lo raro y la aflicción se conjugan con el verbo ‘arrastrar’, que podría conferir cierta inevitabilidad a los eventos y cierta pasividad a los personajes. El intento es averiguar si en los dos relatos se presenta la impotencia de los sujetos o más bien se reconoce la posibilidad de crear líneas de fuga para el deseo y se propone una perspectiva contra hegemónica, también en relación con el heterogéneo mundo indígena boliviano.

This work moves from a hypothesis that in some texts from the 2000s, belonging to different genres and geographic spaces, there is a connection between the representation of a critical emotional condition and a new variation of the modes of the fantastic, more prone to the weird. Based on this result, in dialogue with Mark Fischer’s Capitalist Realism and The Weird and the Eerie, an interpretation of two stories by Liliana Colanzi, “La Ola” and “Chaco”, is proposed. In both stories, the weird and the prostration are combined with the verb ‘drag’, which could confer a certain inevitability to events and a certain passivity to the characters. The attempt is to find out if the two stories present the impotence of the subjects or, rather, the possibility of creating lines of escape for desire, and whether a counter-hegemonic perspective is proposed, also in relation to the heterogeneous Bolivian indigenous world.
